Easy Sabudana Vada Recipe
- 1 cup sabudana(tapioca pearls)
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potato
- 2-3 tbsp peanut powder
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves
- 2-3 green chilli (chopped)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2-3 tsp lemon juice
- oil/ghee for frying
- salt to taste
- For serving Katori chat
- 1 cup curd
- 1/4 cup cucumber chopped
- 1/4 cup tomato chopped
- 2-3 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- salt to taste
How to make Easy Sabudana Vada
- Step-1
Wash and soak sabudana in equal amount of water for three to four hours . - Step-2
Dry roasted peanuts on medium flame, let it cool and grind to a coarse powder . - Step-3
In a big mixing bowl take soaked sabudana, boiled potatoes ,peanut powder, salt green chillies,coriander leaves, cumin seed and lemon juice . - Step-4
mash and mix it well to form a dough. - Step-5
Shape the vada between hands and deep fry in hot oil. - Step-6
To make katori chat grease an appe pan with oil or ghee and press the mixture in to the cavity to make katori shape - Step-7
Cover and cook for 3-4 min on medium heat.add little more ghee or oil to make it crisp . - Step-8
Remove when crisp and golden.Let it cool a bit and serve with curd cucumber and fresh coriander.
