Plum Juice Recipe | How To Make Plum Juice

Plum juice is a delicious drink made from plums, which are a type of stone fruit. To make plum juice, ripe plums are typically washed, pitted, boiled and then pureed or juiced. Cooking the plums soften them and help to release their juices. The resulting juice can be consumed as is, or it can be mixed with other ingredients such as sugar, honey, or lemon juice to enhance its flavour. The best part is you do not even need a juicer or blender to make this juice.

Plum juice is a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin c, vitamin k, potassium, and iron. It also contains antioxidants, which may help protect the body against damage from free radicals. Plums are also good for digestion, so if you are suffering from constipation it will help you.

Plum juice can be enjoyed on its own or used as a base for cocktails, smoothies, or other beverages. It can also be used in cooking and baking, for example, as a glaze for meats or as an ingredient in jams and jellies.

You can customize your plum juice according to your liking. The thickness, sweetness and tanginess can be adjusted to suite your tastebuds. If you like the kick try adding some black pepper.

The name red velvet is given to this because of its velvety soft texture and bright red color. This delicious cake is moist, soft, tender and topped with fluffy, luscious cream cheese frosting. This combination makes it irresistible.

As it is made without eggs, it is a popular choice for those who follow vegetarian of vegan diet or have an egg allergy. Suji Mango Cake | Eggless Mango Semolina Cake

Suji Mango Cake

This suji mango cake is a delicious teatime treat or a good option to satisfy your sweet tooth. You will get amazing flavour of mango throughout the cake. It is a bit healthier version of a regular cake as it replaces plain flour with semolina and natural flavouring of mango.

Furthermore mangoes are naturally sweet so you will need lesser sugar to make the cake. You do not need any fancy ingredients to make this cake. That is why i'm a big fan of this recipe. It is eggless, refine flour free and kids friendly too.

I also made the mango glace to make it little fancy but that is totally optional. You may add some tutti frutti or some chopped nuts if you wish.

Fruits are delicious anyways but adding it to a dessert just elevates everything. If you are a mango lover like most of us, you will surely enjoy this recipe. And like always it is so easy to make.

It makes a great snack or dessert option, my kids love this in tiffin too. It can be stored at room temperature for up to 5 days, but i bet it will be finished before that 😊.

Nankhatai Recipe

Nankhatai is delicious, light, fluffy and melt in mouth eggless indian cookie. It is sometimes called as indian shortbread cookies or biscuit. These eggless indian biscuits are made using only few basic ingredients that makes it so simple and easy to prepare. These generally have a classic cardamom or nutmeg flavour.

Nankhatai is one of my favourite childhood snacks. I grew up eating this delicious teatime treat. You can find these traditional cookies in almost every bakery shop in india, so you can imagine its popularity in all over india and pakistan since very long time.

My hometown is famous for its incredibly delicious melt in mouth nankhatai and these are prepared there particularly in summer season. You will find these everywhere from may to august there and the reason behind this is because this is the season when the ghee is in melted state at room temperature as the temperature is above 35 degrees, so it results in softer texture and will just melt away in your mouth.

However, you can enjoy these anytime in the year, but its worth trying in summer to feel the real yumminess.

This is a straightforward recipe that does not need any special technique.

If you are a fan of nakatani like me, then you can easily make these at home. Just make them in bulk and store in an airtight container, these will stay good for the next couple of days.

Curd Rice Recipe | South Indian Curd Rice

Curd Rice Recipe

Curd rice recipe with video and step by step photos. Curd rice is a simple yet delicious meal, which is not only healthy but also good for your stomach. The good bacteria present in the curd are really good for the gut health. Curd-rice is also known as daddojanam or thayir saddam.

This comfort food is one of the easiest recipes from south indian cuisine. I really love curd rice for the following reasons- it tastes great, guilt free and a complete meal on its own. Even if you have upset stomach, it is just perfect to have it, as this is easy on your stomach too.

This can be the best and easiest meal for the summer. It doesn't require so much of cooking and everyone enjoys this chilled food in summer and it also easy on your tummy.

As curd has protein, calcium and other nutrients in it so curd rice makes a very healthy and nutritious meal. It also beats the summer heat and prevents sunstroke.

It is such a great way to use the left-over rice in an easier and healthier way. It is mild yet flavourful dish and you can find it in almost every south indian menu. It is also popular as prasad in temples in south india.

I really prefer to chill the curd rice before serving it, because it tastes better when it’s chilled and all the flavours get enhanced, absorbed and well blended. That is why it just tastes even better after chilling.

Though this tastes great on its own, but you can also serve it with pickle or podi or papad and sliced onions.

Easy And Healthy Breakfast Recipe | Dibba Rotti (Thin)
Star ActiveStar ActiveStar ActiveStar ActiveStar Active(2)

Easy And Healthy Breakfast Recipe | Dibba Rotti (Thin)

This is one of my favourite breakfast recipes and it surely has reason for it. Firstly, it is protein rich, easy to prepare and very filling. It has the perfect balance of softness and crispiness. The equal quantity of rice and dal gives it perfect texture. This is the recipe that gives south indian taste without fermentation which is an added benefit. This dish is inspired with a classic andhra recipe that is called dibba rotti, but it is thinner than that, so you can call it thin dibba rotti or cheela.

Urad dal is a very nutrient dense food, other than protein it is rich is iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium and folic acid. It is good for kids as well as pregnant ladies. This recipe needs the equal ratio of urad dal and rice which makes the double in comparison of any idli or dosa batter.

Few things that you need to keep in mind that use minimal water to grind the batter and secondly do not make a fine paste, the mixture should be coarse to get the perfect texture. Another good point of this recipe is that you get the crispy texture without using so much oil as it is thick it doesn't need that much of oil. If you don't want to use much oil you can surely just brush a little bit oil and make it but more oil makes it more crispy.

The normal textures of this rotti or cheela is thick and dense but if you want it to be lighter you can add a little bit of soda bi carb (baking soda) to the mixture to make it fluffier.

Beetroot poha is an easy and healthy indian breakfast recipe. This healthy and nutritious breakfast can be prepared within 15 minutes. It is made with beaten rice or flatten rice, hence it has good amount of iron and vitamin a and adding beetroot makes it even more nutritious.

The recipe also includes lemon juice which is source of vitamin c that ensures the better absorption of iron, so its a complete package of goodness.

The attractive red color of this poha comes naturally with beetroot, which is considered as a super food.

It is one of the recipes which looks so appealing inspite of being so simple. This beautiful red color catches everyone’s eyes. Adding nuts gives the dish a nice crunch.
