Easy Instant Vrat Wala Dosa Recipe
- 1 table spoon oil or ghee.
- 1 tea spoon cumin seeds.
- 1 green chilli finely chopped.
- 4-5 curry leaves.
- 1 table spoon peanuts crushed.
- 1/2 cup sweet potato boiled and mashed.
- 1/2 cup potatoes boiled and mashed.
- Salt to taste.
- 1/4 tea spoon black pepper.
- 1 tea spoon lemon juice.
- 1 cup buckwheat flour (kuttu ka atta).
- 1/4 tea spoon rock salt (sendha namak).
- Water as needed.
- 2 table spoon oil.
How to make Easy Instant Vrat Wala Dosa
- Step-1
1. Heat some oil in pan. Add cumin seeds, green chilli, curry leaves and peanuts and saute well. - Step-2
2. Add boiled potatoes and sweet potatoes along with some salt and pepper. Roast until well combined. - Step-3
3. Switch off the heat and add some lemon juice, mix it well and the stuffing is ready. - Step-4
4. In a bowl, combine kuttu flour, salt and add water gradually until you achieve a smooth batter. - Step-5
5. Aim for a consistency similar to regular dosa batter. Let the batter sit for 10-15 minutes. This enhances flavor and texture. - Step-6
6. Heat a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease it with ghee or oil. Pour a ladleful of batter. - Step-7
7. After adding the batter onto the hot pan, spread it into a thin circle. - Step-8
8. Drizzle some ghee or oil around the edges and on top of the dosa. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat until the edges lift and the bottom turns golden brown. - Step-9
9. Carefully flip the dosa and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the other side is crisp. Add the masala on top and remove from the pan. - Step-10
10. Serve hot with yogurt, chutney, or your favorite dip. Enjoy your kuttu ka dosa!.
Notes:
- Sift the flour through a fine sieve before making the batter.
- Make sure the batter is of pouring consistency, kind of runny to make crispy dosas.
- Before pouring the batter make sure that the pan is nice and hot.
